History

The seeds Of this Vidya Mandir i.e. “MRV Vivekananda Model School” Mukhram Park were sown long back in the year 1972 by Sh. O.P Babber with the blessings and good wishes of Late Sh. Munshi Ram Babber Ji,a visionary and a known philanthropist of his times.

1972, Founded in Tilak Nagar

Mr. Babber’s love for education and a desire to prepare disciplined and civilized citizens coupled with his insatiable thirst for knowledge is the main force which prompted him to take up this project The school started with very small number of children and a teacher Mrs. Saroj Makani who was devoted to the cause of education.

Reality

Sh. Babber is not only a dreamer but has the will and power to make his dreams a reality. His dauntless courage and tireless efforts resulted in attracting more and more children of the neighbouring localities.

2023, 50th anniversary

Principal Mrs. Makani’s affectionate behaviour with both the parents and children also went a long way in multiplying the no. of children every day and within a short period this small group of children housed in a small room, assumed the look of a school and the students began to be admitted up to class VIII.
